I had always wanted to take a Spanish course as an adult but struggled to find somewhere local that was not geared toward children. When I came across Studio Espanol I was thrilled! I inquired and was offered the chance to try out a course before committing, and after the first course I was hooked! The environment is relaxed and supportive and really gives you an immersive style experience to learn at your best. While I have had to step back due to some autoimmune issues, the studio was extremely supportive and accomodating and has encouraged me to try other options such as a smaller group or even an online course. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone hoping to learn Spanish at any level. It does not matter if you have never had any experience with the language, or you are just in need of some challenges and practice, this is the place for all learners and levels! I cannot say enough good things about the people and the place!

I've wanted to learn Spanish for years and I am so happy that I finally embraced the challenge and discovered Studio Español! Joaquin does a wonderful job of balancing the introduction of new material with steady and consistent review so that I am building a strong foundational understanding of the language that goes far beyond memorizing verb conjugations. The advantage of learning from a native speaker is huge and I appreciate the fun and levity that Joaquin brings to every lesson. Between the depth of private lessons and the fun dynamic of learning in a small group setting, I can't recommend Studio Español enough!

If you want to learn real Spanish look no further. I was searching for the Spanish teacher and was advised by my friend from Catalonia to contact Mr.Frias. Born and raised in Madrid, he is a true expert of the Spanish language and culture. Friendly nature of the teacher makes learning very enjoyable. I always look forward to my next class.

I have taken three courses at Studio Espanol. I can honestly say that learning Spanish at the Studio is the highlight of my week. The instructor (Joaquin) is amazing. Students are motivated and engaged. The class is fun and is a wonderful mix of spoken and written lessons. We have homework, but no tests, grades or credits. It is a wonderful place for adults to learn Spanish. I can't say enough about the experience! If you are interested to learn Spanish, Studio Espanol is the best place to do it!
